Girls Empowerment Group Mentoring Program consists of positive one-on-one mentorship dedicated to strengethening participants through education, business and enriching experiences to enable participants to be independent, confident, and self-sufficient young women. Our mentorship program provides inner city girls from Baltimore, ages 10 – 18, with one-on-one matches with screened and trained mentors in addition to benefiting from weekly group sessions and enriching monthly outings.Our programs foster leadership abilities to help young girls build self-esteem, develop key leadership skills, and recognize the value of outreach, community service, and academic success.

We incorporated STEAM to the Girls Empowerment Group Mentoring Program to enable disadvantaged non-traditional girls interested in studying Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) to express their ideology and knowledge of STEAM subjects with local underrepresented junior high and high school students. We offer engaging, hands-on STEAM learning that builds real-life skills and proficiencies that will prepare them for the 21st century career landscape.
The Girls Empowerment Group Mentoring Program developed programs to assist students with reaching their educational goals. This is oftened accomplished through trainings, summits, counseling, and various outreach programs, as well as connecting students to internships, apprenticeships and employment opportunities in STEAM related and other disciplines.
